Rob's friend Chuck Witham, one of the groomsmen in the wedding party (and bearer of Michelle's ring), passed away on August 6, 2002 in a tragic bicycle accident.

We went to his memorial service almost four weeks to the day after our wedding.

Here are some of our pictures of Chuck. The first bunch are all from our wedding in July. This one is from Margarita's old apartment. The last few are from Tony and Marybeth's wedding in 1999.

Chuck was a dear, dear friend. We miss him deeply and mourn his passing. We are grateful that he was able to be such a vital part of our wedding, and that so many of our family and friends spent time with (and greatly enjoyed) him there. And most of all, we are grateful to have had him in our lives.
