From the mail Sameer got from Jane & Walter, also from misc. info I've heard about on the lists (if you know the dates of any other gatherings at Willits, lemme know and I'll add 'em).  I vote we not do anything too close to anything else....

July 3-4: open

The Finger Wigglings

These are NOT VOTES!  Votes are final and irrevocable.  These are FINGER WIGGLINGS: i.e. expressions of support for a particular option.  Why the distinction?  'Cause it serves nobody to have this become a "my way or the highway" decision-making process.  I'm listing people here just so's people get a sense of how many of us lean each way, and how silly it'd be to get too hung up on which date ultimately gets picked, 'cuz the group seems pretty evenly split and we don't wanna do this with only half the tribe and either possibility will go off!  (I suggested switching off every year, but that idea's iffy too.)

Who Can't Do What When

Again, yer only gonna get listed here if you tell me I can list you here.  It is guaranteed that for any given date, some number of people can't make it!  (Like last year, when I was at a friend's wedding over the FnF weekend.)  That doesn't mean they won't be there in spirit!  If I missed you, or listed you contrary to your wishes, lemme know.

RobJ: can't do 8/7 - 8/22 (his 30th birthday is 8/11, and there happens to be a total eclipse on that day in Bulgaria, where his sister's living)
Vanessa: can't do anytime after 8/1 through post-BMan
Rick: got a baby coming in early September!  yay!
Ethan: can't be The Organizing God, or even one of the main pillars o' planning
Cindy: can't do end of July, she's out of the country
